Creating events is free. Organizers keep 100% of the ticket price. Buyers pay one small booking fee — no subscriptions, no monthly fees.
- Free events: $0 for organizers and guests.
- Paid tickets: 4.3% of the ticket price + $1.90 per ticket, paid by the buyer, plus 13% HST on the fee.
- Organizers receive 100% of the ticket price. Card processing is paid by Safara One.
- All sales are final. Safara One does not offer refunds.

How much does Safara One cost?
Creating and publishing events is free. Free events have no fees at all. On paid tickets, the buyer pays a booking fee of 4.3% of the ticket price + $1.90 per ticket, plus 13% HST on the fee. There are no monthly fees or subscriptions.
Do organizers pay anything?
No. Organizers receive 100% of the ticket price. The booking fee is paid by the buyer, and card processing is covered by Safara One out of that fee — nothing is deducted from the organizer's payout.
Who pays Stripe's card processing fee?
Safara One does. Stripe's processing fee is paid from the booking fee, so it never comes out of the organizer's ticket revenue.
Is the $1.90 charged per ticket or per order?
Per ticket. Each ticket carries 4.3% of its price + $1.90; an order can hold up to 10 tickets.
Is Safara One cheaper than Eventbrite?
Yes, on every paid ticket above about $3. For example, on a $50 ticket the fees are $4.05 on Safara One versus about $5.20 on Eventbrite (before tax).
Are there refunds?
No. All ticket sales are final and Safara One does not offer refunds. Buyers accept this no-refund policy before paying.
How do organizers get paid?
Through Stripe. Each sale settles to the organizer's connected Stripe account and pays out to their bank on Stripe's schedule.
